Abstract

We demonstrate an optical-gain clamped EDWA suitable for application to high-capacity reconfigurable WDM metro-networks. The EDWA is insensitive to channel add/drop or pump fluctuations. We also show no spectral-hole-burning offset, reconfigurable gain and no noise-figure degradation.
