Pulse compression in line defect photonic crystal waveguide

Abstract

Dispersion properties of membrane-type line-defect photonic crystal waveguide were investigated using short optical pulses. Group velocity dispersion larger than 10ps/(mm*nm) were measured and pulse compression of approximately 60% was demonstrated
