SLiT: Strongly connected Light-trail for Cost Efficient and Dynamic Optical Networking

Abstract

In this paper we enhance the concept of a single unidirectional light-trail into a new concept called SLiT or Strongly connected Light-Trails that improves utilization and lowers costs. We showcase architecture, performance and cost benefits.
