A Systematic Study of Supercontinuum Generation at 1.06 µm in Holey Fibers with Dispersion Flattened Profiles

Abstract

We report the results of a systematic experimental and theoretical study of 1.06 µm pumped supercontinuum generation in holey fibers with different flattened dispersion characteristics. We identify several different operating regimes characterised by the relative positions of the zero dispersion wavelengths.
