Replicated Polymer Waveguides for Access Applications

Abstract

A replication technology for fabricating polymer optical waveguides has been developed. With this technology, coupler modules are successfully demonstrated with practical characteristics for low cost access applications. And V-groove integration onto those devices is introduced.
