Radio-over-Fiber Distribution System with OEO Repeater for 3G Cellular Systems

Abstract

We have proposed a new radio-over-fiber (ROF) distribution system for 3G cellular systems, which can concentrate ROF signals from distributed cells on one optical fiber deployed on existing optical access systems, and have successfully demonstrated sufficient reverse-link communications.
