Abstract

We demonstrate 42 ps delay on 10.7-Gb/s DPSK signals via SBS-based slow light. Slow-light-induced DPSK-data-pattern dependence is analyzed and its reduction results in 3-dB Q factor improvement. NRZ-DPSK and RZ-DPSK system performances are compared.
