Millimeter-wave Electrooptic Polymer-based Ring Resonator Modulation

Abstract

Modulation is demonstrated throughout the W-band and at the 139 GHz and 165 GHz resonances of an electro-optic polymer ring resonator-based modulator. The experimentally validated analysis indicates superior high-frequency performance over a similar Vπ Mach-Zehnder modulator.
