Parametric Tunable Dispersion Compensation

Abstract

An intrinsically ultra-fast, wide-band and -range tunable dispersion compensation is realized through parametric wavelength conversion in conjunction with dispersion slope fibers. The proposed scheme produces two orders of magnitude larger bandwidth-dispersion product than conventional ones.
