Abstract

The integration potential of waveguide-integrated photodiodes is demonstrated by a novel broadband self-powered photodetector with 72 GHz bandwidth, >55 dBel. dynamical range, and a packaged pin-antenna chip for sub-THz applications suitable as transmitter and receiver.
