Highly nonlinear fiber with reduced dispersion slope and efficient wavelength conversion with sub-ps walk-off

Abstract

HNLF with dispersion slope of +0.010ps/nm2/km was fabricated. FWM-based wavelength conversion in new HNLF exhibited 8dB higher efficiency than that in conventional HNLF in the same walk-off between C-band signals and L-band pump.
