Multipoint Chemical Gas Sensing System Based on Frequency-Shifted Interferometry

Abstract

We present a novel fiber-optic multipoint gas sensing scheme based on frequency- shifted interferometry. A minimum detectable concentration of 77 ppm was achieved for C2H2 in a two sensor system.
