Chirp Frequency Synchronized Detection for Suppression of Light Interference in Optical Access Networks

Abstract

A novel technique is proposed for suppressing light interference caused by the connection of noncompliant equipment. In this technique, the detected optical frequency is synchronized with the chirped frequency of a directly modulated laser diode.
