Sub-Picosecond Optical Pulse Generation Using AOWG

Abstract

A simple method based on arbitrary optical waveform generation is presented for generating sub-picosecond pulses. The method uses standard optical components and demonstrates a novel and flexible way to generate narrow pulses.
