Abstract

A modified NALM setup for phase-preserving amplitude regeneration of WDM-DPSK signals is proposed. Demultiplexing-multiplexing within the NALM fiber loop is used to avoid WDM channel crosstalk. A negative power penalty of 1.2 dB was obtained.
