Reversed dispersion slope photonic bandgap fibers and femtosecond pulse propagation

Abstract

Reversed dispersion slope PBG fibers are presented around one micron by the introduction of partial reflector layer around the core resulting in a strongly wavelength dependent nonlinear phase shift on the propagating fundamental mode.
