Abstract

GMPLS controlled multi-domain end-to-end layer-2 path establishment with VLAN tag swapping is demonstrated. Two kinds of signaling mechanisms to realize tag swapping are implemented on prototype layer-2 switch systems and both mechanisms are evaluated.
