320-Gbps Wavelength-Multiplexed 1×5 Optical Packet Switching Using Broadband InP Phased-Array Switch

Abstract

We demonstrate 1×5 broadband WDM optical packet routing with monolithically integrated phased-array switch on InP. Using a synchronized eight-port current driver, error-free forwarding of 8 × 40-Gbps multi-colored packet is achieved with <25-mA current injection.
