Plug-and-Play WDM-PON Technologies For Future Flexible Optical Access Networks

Abstract

We present WDM-PON technologies that enable us to achieve the plug-and-play function, which remotely and automatically controls all wavelengths over an optical distribution network. Key technologies are reviewed for constructing future flexible optical access networks.
