Abstract

Secure 2.5Gbit/s, 16-ary optical code division multiplexing (OCDM)-based block-ciphering with on-line XOR using a single multi-port optical en/decoder and its 50km-long fiber transmission with true clock recovery is experimentally demonstrated for the first time.
