Broadband Data Transmission in a 40 GHz Fiber Radio Link using a Dual-Wavelength SBS Fiber Laser

Abstract

We generate narrow-linewidth 40 GHz signals using a dual-wavelength SBS fiber laser. Data encoding at bit rates > 1 Gb/s is also presented with 1 Gb/s data transmission in a 40 GHz wireless link demonstrated.
