Low power consumption PLC-type 43Gb/s DQPSK demodulator

Abstract

A low power consumption DQPSK demodulator is realized with a PLC with resin-filled grooves. The power consumption from −5 to 70°C is 1.4W, which is 60% lower than for a conventional demodulator with TEC control.
