Statistical transmission experiments using a real-time 12.1 Gb/s OFDM transmitter

Abstract

A highest speed 12.1 Gb/s real-time OFDM transmitter is reported with optimized Q-factor (Q=22.3dB). Statistical performance measurements using BER testing prove similar error distributions for 231-1 PRBS data at fibers linear and nonlinear transmission regime.
