Compact 40-Gb/s EML Module Using Broadband FPC Connection Technique

Abstract

We developed over-50-GHz broadband FPC connection techniques through the medium of a newly developed small connector. We firstly fabricated an EML module using FPC connection and the module successfully demonstrated clear eye opening at 40-Gb/s.
