A WDM-PON Optical Multicast Overlay Scheme Using Inverse-RZ-Duobinary Signal

Abstract

We propose and demonstrate optical multicast overlay on WDM-PON employing bandwidth efficient Inverse-RZ-duobinary signal. Multicast overlay control is realized by tuning the bias at the point-to-point downstream modulator at the OLT.
