Performance of Microwave-Photonic Links

Abstract

Progress in high-performance microwave-photonic links is reviewed. Although recent research has explored a wide variety of techniques, none has provided a spur-free dynamic range approaching what may be achievable ultimately (~180 dB·Hz). Future directions are considered.
