Chalcogenide Fibers for Mid-Infrared Applications

Abstract

The Naval Research Laboratory has developed rare-earth doped and undoped chalcogenide glass fibers for applications in the 1-12 µm wavelength region. Recent results on these fibers, IR fiber lasers, devices and applications will be reviewed. Article not available.
