Multi-Gbps ASK and QPSK-modulated 60 GHz RoF Link using an Optically Injection Locked VCSEL

Abstract

A 60 GHz RoF transmitter employing an optically injection locked VCSEL is demonstrated for the first time. Multi-Gbps ASK and QPSK at 60 GHz after 20 km fiber and 3 m wireless transmission is shown.
