Abstract

We propose to design a wavelength-constrained Time-Wavelength-Interleaved Network (TWIN) that uses a non-reconfigurable core, and compare its performance to that of a Time-Wavelength-Switched Network (TWSN) which utilizes a fast reconfigurable switch.
