Silicon-on-Insulator Rib Waveguide Bends Using Phase-Compensated Microprism

Abstract

The silicon-on-insulator rib waveguide bends using phase-compensated microprisms are experimental demonstrated. A very compact SOI rib waveguide with bending radius of 15.43 μm is achieved with demonstrating bending angle of 10°, 30°, and 40°.
