Statistical Investigations of Optical OFDM Adaptive Loading Algorithm over 1000 Worst-Case MMFs

Abstract

Bit-and-power-loading(BPL) [power-loading (PL)] offers the best (worst) performance. For MMFs of <300m PL is effective for escalating an optical OFDM MMF link performance to its maximum potential; for longer MMFs, BPL has to be adopted.
