Green and High-Power Photonic Millimeter-Wave (MMW) Generator for Remote Generation at 124-GHz

Abstract

By combing high-modulation-depth (160%) photonic 124GHz MMW sources with NBUTC-PDs for remote (>25km) generation, 6dB power enhancements and 14.4dBm saturation power are achieved as compared to NBUTC-PDs operated under sinusoidal excitation.
