Phase Noise and Timing Jitter Eliminator for Mode-locked Lasers Based on External Graphene Layers

Abstract

We demonstrate a noise eliminator with a reduction of 34% for phase noise and timing jitter based on external graphene layers for mode-locked lasers by absorbing the low-power background noise from the laser spontaneous emission.
