Chirp Monitoring and Fine Tuning System for Optical Pulses Based on Variable Dispersion Compensator and Peak Power Monitor

Abstract

We developed a chirp monitoring and fine tuning system for chirp-free pulse generation by using a variable dispersion compensator and a peak power monitor. A correlation between the pulsewidth and the peak power was confirmed.
