Photonic Generation of Millimeter Waves and Its Applications

Abstract

This paper describes recent advances in generation of millimeter waves based on photonic techniques, which provides wide bandwidth and high output power. Component technologies such as photodiodes and antennas, and applications to telecommunications are presented.
