Blind Subcarrier Equalization without Pre-filtering for Optical OFDM systems

Abstract

We experimentally demonstrate that fractionally-spaced digital equalization can simultaneously demultiplex and equalize OFDM subcarriers without needing digital pre-filters or training sequences. Only blind adaptive algorithms were used to optimize the equalizer.
