Technology progress of high-speed burst-mode 3R receiver for PON applications

Abstract

We review the recent technology progress of high-speed burst-mode 3R receiver suitable for next-generation TDM-PON systems. The essence of dual-rate optical receiver with fast settling function and over-sampling based CDR for 10G-EPON are also presented.
