Compact PM-HNLF Module with Increased SBS Threshold having -29 dB polarization crosstalk

Abstract

SBS threshold of PM HNLF is increased by 4.5 dB due to longitudinal distribution of GeO2 concentration. The 200 m long PM HNLF is packaged into a credit card sized module with polarization crosstalk of 29 dB.
