Abstract

We propose and experimentally investigate digital nonlinear compensation and inter channel cross talk suppression for 4×160.8Gb/s DWDM PDM-QPSK transmission with simplified heterodyne coherent detection. The BER has been improved from 5.7×10−3 to 3.5×10−4 after 1300km SMF-28.
