Experimental Colorless Reception of 16×DP-16QAM at 28 and 30 Gbaud Using a Si-Integrated Coherent Receiver

Abstract

We experimentally study the performance of a colorless Si-based integrated balanced coherent receiver. The receiver performs error free on 16 DP-16QAM channels after 1280 km, providing 3.2 Tbps. LO power and channel count dependence are investigated.
