A Narrow-Passband Frequency-Tunable Microwave Photonic Filter with an Improved Dynamic Range

Abstract

A technique to improve the dynamic range of a microwave photonic filter using an SBS-assisted adaptive filter is proposed. An improved dynamic range of 6 dB over a tunable range of 14 GHz is demonstrated.
