Performance Improvement by Pre-equalization in W-band (75–110GHz) RoF System

Abstract

We experimentally demonstrate pre-equalized W-band RoF system carrying 9.95-Gb/s OOK downlink signal with 19-km SMF-28 transmission and 1.5-m wireless delivery, with BER under 1×10−9 and receiver sensitivity reduction at the BER of 1×10−9 under 0.5dB.
