Demonstration of 24-Gb/s Carrier-less Amplitude and Phase Modulation (CAP) 64QAM Radio-over-Fiber System over 40-GHz Mm-wave Fiber-Wireless Transmission

A novel CAP-ROF system based on multi-level carrier-less amplitude and phase modulation (CAP) 64QAM with high spectrum efficiency is demonstrated. The 24-Gb/s CAP-64QAM signal is successfully transmitted over 40-km SSMF and 1.5-m 38-GHz wireless link.
