Burst-Mode Electronic Dispersion Compensation

Abstract

We demonstrate burst-mode electronic dispersion compensation to support the upstream transmission in hybrid DWDM-TDMA PONs. It is shown how fast tap adaptation is feasible within the short preamble at the start of each burst.
