Abstract

A tunable frequency-doubling Brillouin optoelectronic oscillator pumped by a single-sideband suppressed-carrier modulated light is demonstrated. Microwave signal with a frequency range of 21.8-41.8GHz is generated using a RF source lower than 10GHz.
