Abstract

The impact of anycast and unicast traffic on transponder usage in both symmetric and asymmetric lightpath provisioning scenarios in Elastic Optical Networks is studied. Acceptable costs of multiflow transponders, with respect to 100G WDM transponders, are evaluated.1
