Low-Complexity Training-Aided 2×2 MIMO Frequency Domain Fractionally-Spaced Equalization

Abstract

An efficient filter-tap calculation with minimized number of divisions is reported for training-aided 2 × 2 MIMO frequency domain fractionally-spaced equalizers. Performance evaluation is based on a 28-GBaud PDM-4QAM and PDM-16QAM optical transmission system.
