One GHz Resolution Arrayed Waveguide Grating Filter with LCoS Phase Compensation

Abstract

We correct fabrication phase errors of 63-arm, 50GHz FSR AWG to achieve 1GHz resolution, by imaging the waveguides onto a phase spatial light modulator. Variable bandwidth and center frequency tuning is achieved by spatial filtering.
