Field Trial of Direct-Detection and Multi-Carrier based 100G Transceiver

Abstract

Modulation format plays a critical role for 100G transmission, and there have been extensive works on searching suitable modulation format. We review direct detection based formats, and introduce DC-DQPSK based 100G transceiver for metro networks.
