Master-to-slave injection-locked WRC-FPLD pair with 16 DWDM-PON channels for 16-QAM OFDM transmission

Abstract

A partially coherent weak-resonant-cavity FPLD pair under master-to-slave injection-locking operation is demonstrated for optical 16-QAM OFDM transmission in DWDM-PON with 16 affordable channels achieving BER of below 6.1×10−5 at receiving power of -8 dBm.
